There are very many books available for learning Prompt Engineering and the following are some to consider.
When Perplexity AI was asked if there are books for about Prompt Engineering written in the style that a Prompt Engineer would use when communication with a virtual assistant, it said there is very little that fully matches that style. Such a book would certainly be highlighted here.
Many consider Prompt Engineering for LLMs published by O'Reilly to be excellent. It costs about $68 and has much great stuff that is likely well understood by people that understand it. It is less understandable by people trying to learn. It can be useful if you use AI to explain things in it that you do not understand and you will likely learn more that way. The book would likely be extemely useful if it were written as clearly and accurately as prompts written by Prompt Engineers.

Google/Kaggle Whitepaper Prompt Engineering by Lee Boonstra is free. It is referenced by Google in Prompt design for Gemini Nano . Not recommended.

Prompt Engineering, Mastering the Language of AI to Create, Build, and Innovate by Prabhu TL costs about $3.50.
The Essential Guide to Prompt Engineering by Vladimir Geroimenko costs about $40 but is often on sale for much less.
The Ultimate Guide to ChatGPT by Percival C. Verena costs about $9 as an eBook and about $15 as a paperback.
Prompt Engineering Handbook by Eslam Wahba is available as a paperback for about $13 or is about $1 for Kindle subscribers.
The Art of Prompt Engineering with chatGPT: A Hands-On Guide by Nathan Hunter costs about $28 and is recommended by ChatGPT.
Prompt Engineering: The New Language of Business Leadership Working with AI by Payam Haerifar is available in paperback and Kindle formats for about $25. It might be too conceptual.
